

The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) in Mohali is an independent institution founded in 1998. It was established under the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilisers to serve as a centre of excellence in higher education, research, and development within the field of pharmaceutical sciences. NIPER Mohali is fully accredited by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and has been declared an Institute of National Importance by the Government of India through parliamentary legislation. NIPER Mohali is affiliated with both the Association of Indian Universities and the Association of Commonwealth Universities. The institute provides a range of programs, including M.S. (Pharm), M.Pharm, M.Tech (Pharm.), MBA (Pharm), and Ph.D. courses in various pharmaceutical science disciplines. Admissions are offered based on performance in the NIPER JEE. The institution is well-equipped with facilities such as hostels, an auditorium, a conference complex, a cafeteria, a gymnasium, a health centre, a shopping centre, a community hall, and a swimming pool, all aimed at enhancing both academic and extracurricular experiences for students.
