Ramaiah College of Pharmacy is recognized as one of the country’s top pharmacy institutes today. Established in 1992, the college is often termed a Model Institution due to its rigorous standards and excellent laboratory facilities along with a highly qualified faculty. Situated on New BELL Road, it is conveniently located near the Indian Institute of Science and the Central Power Research Institute. Ramaiah College offers a variety of programs such as D.Pharm, B.Pharm, and M.Pharm, as well as a 6-year PHARM D course. All these programs have received approvals from the Government of Karnataka, the Pharmacy Council of India in New Delhi, and the AICTE. The D.Pharm program is affiliated with the Board of Examining Authority of Karnataka, while the B.Pharm course is associated with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. The college, which is privately funded, boasts a campus with over 500 students, a library with more than 5,270 textbooks and reference publications, and subscriptions to 32 international and national journals. The teaching faculty at Ramaiah College consists of over 23 members, ensuring an effective Faculty to Student Ratio of 13:1, allowing students personalized attention and guidance.
