

CSI College of Dental Science and Research, located in Madurai, was founded in 2007 through the efforts of Madura & Ramnad Diocese Bishop Rt. Rev. Dr. A. Christopher Asir. It is situated next to the Christian Mission Hospital, focusing on quality education and practical exposure for students. Madurai always needed a dental college, and it was the vision and commitment of Bishop Emeritus Dr. A. Christopher Asir that turned this into reality. The college boasts a rich history and important affiliations. Under the leadership of Chairman Rt. Rev. Dr. M. Joseph and the foundation laid by Bishop Emeritus Dr. A. Christopher Asir, the institution is recognized by the Dental Council of India and the Ministry of Health, New Delhi. It is also affiliated with Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University, ensuring high educational standards. The college offers a comprehensive Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.) program spanning four years. With a strong team of 35 faculty members, it houses several departments such as Oral Medicine, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics, and more. These departments cater to various aspects of dental education and practice. CSI College is equipped with several student-friendly facilities. The campus, located at 129 East Veli Street in Madurai, includes a well-stocked library, dedicated boys' and girls' hostels, and effective anti-ragging policies.
