The College of Agriculture in Hassan, Karnataka was established to enrich agricultural education by providing learning, research, and training opportunities in the fields of agriculture and food science technology. The College was founded in 1996 under the aegis of the University of Agricultural Sciences and was inaugurated by Shri H.D. Devegowda. It is accredited by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research and is spread across 185 acres in Hassan District, Karnataka. The campus hosts approximately 600 students, including around 300 boys, 299 girls, and 2 international students. The nearest airports are in Bangalore and Mangalore, about 160 kilometers away, while the campus is well-linked via NH48, just 13 minutes from Channarayapattna Railway Station.
