Government Medical College, Suryapet, set up in 2019, is a prominent institution in Suryapet. It is connected with Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences in Telangana and is also recognized by the National Medical Commission. GMC Suryapet provides undergraduate and postgraduate courses in medical sciences. The college offers an MBBS program at the undergraduate level, with admission based on NEET UG scores, followed by a counseling process. The MBBS program stretches over 4.6 years followed by a one-year internship. Each year, GMC Suryapet enrolls roughly 150 students for its MBBS course.
