Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing Jabalpur (IIITDM Jabalpur) is an autonomous institution established in 2005 and receives funding from the Central Government. Recognized as an institution of national importance by the MHRD, it was ranked 58th in the B.Tech category by Collegedunia in 2025. The institute offers various programs including B.Tech, B.Des, M.Tech, M.Des, and Ph.D. The main focus, however, is the B.Tech program, which covers streams like CSE, ECE, Mechanical Engineering, and Smart Manufacturing. To gain admission into the B.Tech courses, students must perform well in the JEE Main exams, with seats distributed through JoSAA, CSAB, or DASA counselling rounds. For 2025, the JEE Main cutoff ranks lie between 13,297 and 43,412. Admission to the B.Des program, on the other hand, is through UCEED scores. Postgraduate courses like M.Tech and M.Des require GATE, CEED, or UGC-JRF scores, followed by either CCMT or self-counselling. In the 2025 placement drive, IIITDM Jabalpur saw a highest domestic package of INR 80.54 LPA. The students secured over 346 placements, including 13 international offers. The placement drive attracted participation from over 95 prominent companies including Rimo Japan, Google, CRED, Palo Alto Networks, UKG, BEL, TCS, HCL, Flipkart, and Oracle.
