Established in 2006, the State Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition (SIHM) in Raipur is an autonomous institute operating under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. Affiliated with the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT), it has carved a niche for itself as a key government institution for hospitality education in Central India, focusing on building strong foundational skills for aspiring professionals. The flagship program at SIHM Raipur is the three-year B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration. Admission to this highly sought-after course is exclusively through the NCHMCT JEE entrance examination, with counselling conducted centrally.
