

Ranga Raya Medical College (RMC) in Kakinada, also known simply as RMC Kakinada, is a well-established government medical school founded in 1958. It's affiliated with Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences and recognized by the National Medical Council. In 2025, it was ranked 211th in India and 4th in Andhra Pradesh for medical studies, according to Collegedunia. RMC Kakinada offers a variety of courses, including undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma programs in medicine. Its MBBS program is particularly prominent.
