CET Trivandrum, founded in 1939 by Shree Chithira Thirunal Balarama Varma, the Maharaja of Travancore, is a well-known institution. It is accredited by the NBA, approved by AICTE, and affiliated with the University of Kerala. Its architecture department is also affiliated with the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University in Thiruvananthapuram. In the NIRF B.Tech 2024 rankings, CET Trivandrum is placed between 101-150 out of 300 institutions in India.
