Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University, commonly referred to as SGT University, was founded in 2013. Situated in Gurugram, Haryana, it is a private university acknowledged by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It proudly holds an 'A+' grade accreditation from NAAC and has approvals from AICTE, NMC, and BCI. In 2024, the Indian Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF) positioned SGT University at the 71st rank in the overall category. SGT University's standout program is the B.Tech degree, featuring specializations in areas like Computer Science & Engineering, AI & ML, Data Science, Cybersecurity, and Blockchain. To qualify, candidates need to have cleared their 10+2 exams with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, securing at least 45% (or 40% for reserved categories). Admission is primarily based on JEE Main scores. The fees for the first year of the B.Tech program range from INR 5.6 lakhs to INR 11.2 lakhs, varying according to the specialization selected. As of now, the 2025 placement report for SGT University Gurgaon hasn't been released. However, as per the SAGE University NIRF Overall Report of 2025, 71 students from the UG three-year program and 140 from the four-year program secured placements. Additionally, 89 students were hired from the five-year UG program, while one student from the one-year PG program and 164 from the two-year PG program found placements. Around 32 students were placed from the three-year PG program.
