Sri Aurobindo College in New Delhi is a public institution that began its journey in 1972. It operates under the affiliation of Delhi University and has received approval from the UGC. The college is also accredited by NAAC. In 2024, its ranking by NIRF was within the 101-200 range. The college provides a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programs across different specializations. Admissions to these programs are based on the candidates’ scores in the CUET exam. Once candidates clear the entrance test, they take part in the central DU CSAS process to get allocated seats. Among its offerings, the B.A. (Hons.) English is considered the flagship course. According to the NIRF Placement reports for 2025, placement opportunities were extended to 242 students from the undergraduate three-year program in the 2023-24 session, with a median package of INR 4.50 LPA. Additionally, four students from the two-year postgraduate department were placed, with a median package of INR 4 LPA.
