Rajkiya Engineering College, commonly known as REC Azamgarh, is a government-supported engineering institution that came into existence in 2010 in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh. Originally referred to as Manyawar Kanshiram Engineering College of Information Technology, the college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and is affiliated with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow. It offers a B.Tech program with specializations in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Information Technology. The college highlights its B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) as its flagship course. For admission into the B.Tech program, aspirants need to secure a valid score on either UPTAC or JEE Main. The fee for the first year of the B.Tech course is INR 63,000.
