Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University (RMLAU), also known as Avadh University, was established in 1975 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. This State University is situated in Faizabad city, Uttar Pradesh, and holds a 'B' grade rating by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). RMLAU is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). It provides education to around 5 lakh regular and private students across its 9 postgraduate departments, an on-campus Institute of Engineering, and over 600 affiliated colleges in seven districts, including Ayodhya, Sultanpur, and Lucknow. The university offers a range of programs, including UG, PG, and Ph.D. courses in Arts, Science, Commerce & Management.
