

Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (SRIHER), initially known as SRMC and RI, was founded in 1985. It attained the status of a Deemed-to-be University from the Indian government in 1994. Located in Chennai, this private, not-for-profit institute is recognized by the UGC, accredited by NABH, and has received an 'A++' grade from NAAC. In 2024, SRIHER was ranked 96th out of 200 Indian colleges by NIRF in the overall category. Among the courses offered at SRIHER, the MBBS program is highly sought after.
