Located in Krishnankovil, Tamil Nadu, Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education (KARE) is a deemed-to-be university established in 1984. It has 12 distinct schools encompassing various fields. The university is recognized by UGC, AICTE, and COA, and it boasts accreditations from NBA and ABET. Moreover, it proudly holds an A++ Grade from NAAC. In 2025, its B.Tech program was placed 345th out of 500 by Collegedunia and was ranked 36th out of 300 by NIRF in 2024. Kalasalingam University's flagship program is its B.Tech course, though it also offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs like B.Sc, B.Arch, B.Com, MBA, and MSc.
