BS Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology, often referred to as BS Abdur Rahman University, is a deemed-to-be university established in 1984. It is recognized by the UGC and NBA and has received an 'A+' grade from NAAC. In 2024, it was ranked 6th out of 40 in Design and 35th out of 173 in B.Tech by IIRF. Additionally, in the NIRF 2024 rankings, it secured 84th out of 125 in Pharmacy and 151st out of 300 in B.Tech. The university provides a variety of specializations across its management programs, including undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD courses. The flagship course is B.Tech, but it also offers MBA, M.Tech, BA, B.Des, B.Sc, B.Com, MCA, and M.Sc. The first-year fee for B.Tech ranges from INR 2.15 lakhs to INR 4.4 lakhs. Admissions to most courses are merit-based, depending on the qualifying exams. For B.Tech, JEE Mains and CIEAT exams are considered.
