Indian Institute of Management Shillong, established in 2007, is India's seventh IIM and offers postgraduate and doctoral programs in Management. It has been ranked 17th for Management by Collegedunia for the year 2025. Admissions at IIM Shillong are carried out online and are entrance-based. The flagship program, Post Graduate Program (PGP), is a two-year course. Candidates with a minimum of 50% in their undergraduation and a valid CAT score can apply. In the summer internships for 2025, the highest stipend offered was INR 4.6 lakhs, while the average stipend was INR 1.90 lakhs. Noteworthy recruiters included Accenture, Capgemini, Deloitte, Adani, and Indigo.
