The Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, commonly known as IIT Hyderabad, was founded in 2008. It's recognized by the UGC and has AICTE approval. According to Collegedunia's 2025 rankings, it holds the 10th spot nationwide and is ranked first in Hyderabad within the engineering category. IIT Hyderabad offers a wide range of programs including UG, PG, and Ph.D. courses across fields like engineering, applied sciences, and design.
