The School of Management, located in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, has established itself as a premier institution in its field. Initially, it began as the Institute of Petroleum Management, Gandhinagar (IPMG) in 2006, under the guidance of the Gujarat Energy Research and Management Institute (GERMI). This institute was founded by the Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation (GSPC). A year later, in 2007, GERMI initiated the creation of Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU), and IPMG evolved into the School of Management (SPM) under PDPU. The school aims to establish itself as a globally recognized leader in high-quality management education, focusing extensively on Energy Engineering. Its mission includes fostering environmentally friendly technological innovations and research in energy efficiency, forming many partnerships with internationally esteemed universities. PDPU's School of Management, a private university established through a state act on April 4, 2007, provides various management programs. The school has collaborated internationally with institutions like the University of Tulsa, University of Alberta, and University of Saskatchewan, offering students vast exposure to advanced educational methodologies through projects of varying durations. Key highlights include its official establishment on April 4, 2007, in Gandhinagar. It's recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the University Grants Commission (UGC), and accredited by NAAC with an 'A' grade and ISO 9001:2008. The campus spans 100 acres and enrolls about 3,200 students. For the 2024 MBA program, applications are open with a deadline of February 19, and interviews for shortlisted candidates will occur in March. The program begins on June 19, 2024. The Executive MBA program has similar timelines, starting from June 30, 2024. Course fees range from INR 2.35 Lakhs to INR 12.30 Lakhs for different programs, requiring a bachelor's degree for eligibility, with varying additional criteria such as work experience and entrance tests.
