Founded in 1998, IES's Management College and Research Centre, better known as IES MCRC, in Mumbai, is a distinguished private institute renowned for its management courses. It is recognized as one of the top 50 management colleges in India and among the top 10 in Mumbai. Run by the Indian Education Society, one of the oldest public charitable trusts in India, IES MCRC operates alongside 66 other educational institutions under the society's umbrella. The institute has forged collaborations with industry bodies like CII, IMC, ISTD, NIPM, AMDISA, and IDMA. IES MCRC offers full-time programs such as PGDM and PGDM in Pharmaceutical Management, both of which have AICTE approval. Its flagship program is a 2-year full-time residential PGDM, which the AIU accredits and equates with an MBA. Additionally, IES MCRC provides a doctoral-level Ph.D. program for researchers and academicians. Admissions at IES MCRC are determined by entrance exams such as CMAT, GMAT, XAT, MAT, CAT, ATMA, and MH-CET. The final selection involves an aptitude test, micro presentation, essay writing, work experience, psychometric test, personal interview, and academic evaluation. Ph.D. admissions depend on the Mumbai University's entrance test followed by interviews. IES MCRC boasts advanced academic infrastructure and a faculty with an average experience of 12 years. In 2023, IES MCRC successfully completed its placement drive with 235 students placed. The highest salary package offered was INR 10 LPA, while the average was INR 7.5 LPA. During this recruitment drive, 218 companies, including P&G, Deloitte, HDFC Bank, BYJU's, and Aditya Birla Group, participated.
