Walchand College of Engineering, commonly known as WCE Sangli, was established in 1947 and is a government-aided autonomous institution. It boasts accreditations from the NBA and NAAC with a grade A status. The institute offers AICTE-approved undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Students can enroll in B.Tech, M.Tech, and Polytechnic courses across its 9 departments. Admissions to WCE Sangli’s signature B.Tech program are conducted through JEE Main or MHT CET. The cutoff for B.Tech CSE in the general category for MHT CET was 90.02%. Seats are allocated during the counseling rounds. The average fee for the first year of B.Tech is INR 86,104. Admissions to various programs are contingent upon entrance exam scores and the CAP process. Students can also avail of government and merit-based scholarships.
