Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering (MITE), located in Mangalore, Karnataka, was founded in 2007. The institute is an autonomous body affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi. It holds a Grade A+ accreditation from NAAC, is recognized by the UGC, and has AICTE approval.
