Madras Institute of Technology (MIT), founded in 1949 by C. Rajam, is a private engineering college located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It is affiliated with Anna University and has approval from AICTE. The institute is accredited by the NBA and holds an A++ grade from NAAC. As per Collegedunia, MIT Chennai is ranked 171 among 762 engineering colleges in 2025. MIT Chennai's standout program is its B.Tech course.
