KLE College of Engineering and Technology in Chikodi, commonly referred to as KLE College of Engineering, is a private institution that was founded in 2008. This college is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum, one of Karnataka’s top state public technical universities recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). VTU is accredited with an 'A' grade by NAAC, boosting the academic prestige of its affiliated colleges. KLE College itself is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and holds a 'B+' grade from NAAC. The college offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programs across the fields of engineering, computer applications, and management, amounting to seven distinct courses. The flagship course remains the Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) with specializations like Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.
