BGS Institute of Technology, a private institution founded in 2005, became a part of Adichunchanagiri University in 2018. It is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi, and is recognized by AICTE and the Government of Karnataka. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has awarded it an 'A+' grade with a CGPA of 3.39, and the NBA has accredited its CSE, ECE, CE, and ME programs. The four-year course costs between INR 2.8 lakh to INR 6.8 lakh, and admission is through KCET scores. Additionally, the institution offers MBA and M.Tech programs, as well as Ph.D. opportunities in various fields.
