Established in 1990, Acharya Institute of Technology, commonly known as AIT, is a private education institution located in Bangalore. It is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University and holds accreditations from NAAC, AICTE, and NBA. In 2024, it was ranked 78th for BTech by IIRF. AIT Bangalore provides a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in 12 different fields. To apply, students must have completed Class 12 with a minimum score of 45%, with English as a required subject. Admission is based on scores from KCET or ComedK exams, followed by a counseling process. The fees for the four-year program range between INR 4.7 lakhs and INR 10.6 lakhs, depending on the specialisation. Admissions at AIT Bangalore are conducted via entrance exams. Though the placement report for 2025 is yet to be released, the institute boasts an impressive 85% placement rate.
