Established in 1989, Mahatma Gandhi Mission's Medical College in Navi Mumbai is a well-regarded deemed university, recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and holding an impressive 'A+' grade from NAAC. While the official rankings for 2025 and 2026 are not yet released, the college secured a strong 44th position among medical colleges across India in the NIRF 2023 rankings, which gives a good idea of its academic standing. The college's flagship program is the undergraduate MBBS degree, alongside various postgraduate MD and MS specialisations. Admission is highly competitive and is based entirely on your performance in the national-level NEET UG and NEET PG examinations.
