Established in 2000, this institution is a constituent college of C. U. Shah University and holds the essential recognition from the National Medical Commission (NMC), which is a key factor for any aspiring doctor. The college primarily offers the undergraduate MBBS program, with an annual intake of 250 students. For the upcoming 2025 academic session, admissions will be based solely on NEET UG scores, followed by counselling conducted by the Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC), Gujarat. The fee structure varies significantly based on the seat quota. For the 2025 batch, the expected annual fee for Government Quota seats is around ₹8.25 lakhs, while Management Quota seats are projected to be approximately ₹18 lakhs. For the NRI quota, the fee is anticipated to be around USD 30,000 per year. Unlike engineering colleges, medical institutions don't have a traditional placement system. After completing the 4.5-year MBBS course, students undertake a one-year compulsory rotating internship at the affiliated C. U. Shah General Hospital, gaining crucial hands-on experience. The stipend for this internship during 2025-2026 is expected to be in line with state norms. Upon completion, graduates can either prepare for NEET PG to pursue postgraduate specializations like MD or MS, apply for government medical officer positions, or begin their own clinical practice.
