Assam Medical College, popularly referred to as AMC Dibrugarh, is a government medical institute established in 1947. It is affiliated with the Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences and has accreditation from the National Medical Commission. In the Collegedunia rankings for 2025, AMC Dibrugarh was placed at 280th position out of 660 medical colleges. AMC Dibrugarh primarily offers the flagship M.B.B.S. degree at the undergraduate level. In addition, it provides four postgraduate courses: M.D. in 15 specialisations, a Post Graduate Diploma in Child Health, M.S. in four specialisations, and a Master of Science in Otorhinolaryngology.
