Founded in 1977, Symbiosis Law School (SLS) Pune holds approval from UGC and the Bar Council of India and boasts an 'A' grade accreditation from NAAC. It's recognized as the second-best law college in India by IIRF 2025. The college offers a variety of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in law, with the BBALLB (Hons.) being particularly popular. To gain entry into this program, students must clear the SLAT exam and have completed their 10+2 with at least 45% from a recognized board. The tuition fee for the first year is INR 4.98 lakhs. In terms of placements, the 2025 report highlights impressive results. The highest package recorded was INR 22 LPA, with an average package of INR 13.31 LPA. SLS Pune successfully placed about 45% of its students, with many securing positions in leading firms such as Trilegal, AZB & Partners, and Khaitan & Company, to name a few.
