MIT Institute of Design, commonly referred to as MITID, is a private educational institution founded in 2006. It is a part of the MIT Art, Design & Technology University (MIT ADT University) and is accredited with an A grade by NAAC, receiving approval from AICTE. According to the IIRF Ranking of 2024, it stands at 9th position nationwide in the Design category. MITID offers a variety of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs across different fields. The Bachelor of Design, or B.Des, is the highlight program at MIT Institute of Design. Aspiring students aiming to join the B.Des program must have completed their 10+2 education and are required to take the MITID Design Entrance Test (DET), conducted at various centers across India. The total fees for the B.Des program amount to INR 20.8 lakhs. The placement report for MIT Institute of Design for the year 2025 hasn't been released yet.
