Nehru Arts and Science College, commonly referred to as NASC, was established in 1988 in Coimbatore and has gained autonomous status. The campus, spread over 35 acres in Thirumalayampalayam, is conveniently located just 2.5 km from NH 47. Affiliated with Bharathiar University, the college is recognized by the UGC with 2(f) & 12-B status and boasts NAAC accreditation with an A+ grade, earning a CGPA of 3.50 in the third cycle. In 2025, India Today placed NASC at 102 among 217 institutions, and it secured the 49th position out of 65 in the IIRF Ranking 2024. As per Outlook's 2024 ranking, the college stood at 108 out of 130. NASC provides various undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programs across Arts, Science, and Commerce.
