Netaji Subhas University of Technology, often referred to as NSUT or NSIT, was founded in 1983. In the NIRF 2024 rankings, NSUT secured the 57th spot among 300 engineering colleges across India. Collegedunia ranked it 21st out of 762 engineering colleges in India for 2025. The university provides undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs, with admissions based on various national-level entrance exams. The B.Tech program is the hallmark of NSUT, offering 23 specializations. The fee for the first year of the B.Tech program in 2025 is INR 2.40 lakhs. Eligibility requires candidates to have completed their 10+2 with a minimum of 60% marks in the PCM stream from a recognized board. Additionally, NSUT offers an M.Tech program with a first-year fee of INR 1.55 lakhs. According to the NSUT Placement 2025 report, 1015 students were successfully placed out of 1895 who registered for placements. The highest salary package offered was INR 65 LPA, while the average package was around INR 17.39 LPA. Top companies like Apple, Google, and Zomato were among the prominent recruiters in 2025 placements at NSUT.
